QuickPOS freezes when opening

Question

Program freezes when opening, with message "loading options and settings"

Answer

The pdb file may be damaged. Open POS Administrator and select Compact. This will try to compact and repair the pdb file. Also open QuickBooks and verify the datafile. If it has lost integrity then rebuild and verify again. If it is then OK, open POS Administrator and select Transfer Data from QuickBooks. Then try opening POS. If POS still freezes, "End task" it, and close POS Administrator.Rename the pdb file and reboot your PC. Then open QuickPOS Administrator and follow the prompts to create a new pdb file. Now you should be able to open POS sucessfully.
