How to set a default classification

This article will outline how to set default classifications within Reckon One, during initial creation and afterwards.

How to set a default classification

A default classification will be useful for keeping your reporting consistent and avoid manual errors, which will allow you to save time, consistence reporting, and improve reporting.

  1. Go to Settings
  2. General > Classifications
  3. Either select a current Classification or create a new Classification
  4. Tick the default classification option

Once you have created the default classification, it will be applied to transactions when created.
