Duplicate transactions appear in the tax control account

Legacy KB ID: 3141

Question

Why are there duplicate entries in my tax control account?

I'm entering 30 split line transaction with tax codes

Answer

CashBook is limited to 30 split lines per transaction, however when entering transactions that include tax codes you should limit this to 29 lines (the 30th is used for the tax transfer to the tax control account)

By limiting the transaction to 29 splits you'll avoid duplicating transaction entries in the tax control account.

Alternatively you can delete all reference to the transaction from both the working account and tax control then reenter transaction.

Note: This only occures when the user edits a 30 split line transaction, does not effect single time entries.

How did we do?

Error: "QHI.IDB file not found"

When I enter a transaction through the Bank Register it doesn't report any data to the Tax Reports o
