Why is my Customer Balance in POS 5 different to the Balance in QuickBooks 2002?

Answer

This can be caused by having a Cheque with the Customer selected as the payee, even if the account is an income or expense account the full amount of this cheque gets added to the customers balance in POS.



Set up a new entry for that customer with a slightly different name in the other names list and use this name on cheques.
