If your barcode starts with a prefix of 02 your scanner may be dropping the zero and therefore QuickPOS cannot read the barcode. (If your scanner is connected via a keyboard wedge you can check this by opening Notepad and scanning the barcode to see what number is displayed)
If the scanner is dropping the zero you will need to program your scanner to read UPC barcodes. These are American barcodes that begin with a zero. Contact your hardware supplier if you need help with this.
