You must enter a value for all of the fields on the Online Info tab when configuring bank account

Question

I cannot configure my bank account for BankData.  I get the message: You must enter a value for all of the fields on the Online Info tab.  Only the APCA number field is blank.  What is an APCA number?

Answer

Enter the numbers 111111 (6 one’s) in the APCA field.

The Issue

BankData utilizes the existing Online Banking features of Accounts Business.  The APCA number, a number that identifies the user to the Bank, is an integral part of this feature.

The APCA number is not necessary for BankData, but a valid number has to be entered for the Banking Online process to proceed. 

Workaround

Enter the default number 111111 (6 one’s).
