Trial Balance is out by an amount that shows in an account called 'No Account'

Question

The trial balance is out by an amount that is kept in an account titled 'No Account' which is located at the bottom of the Trial Balance report. When you zoom into this account the transactions that are here are ones that have used a subtotal item. These transactions are all either Invoices or Cash Sales.

Answer

Create a new Subtotal item. Delete the deposits that relate to these transactions and then edit the Cash Sales/Invoices and replace the Subtotal item used with the new one that was just created. Then reapply the payments or deposits.
