Custom Tax Codes appear as dotted line in Tax Summary Report

Question

Why do my newly added tax codes appear as dotted lines in the Tax Summary Report?

Answer

When a new tax code is added, its column in the Tax Summary report is assigned the minimum width which is insufficient to display the full number.  Dots indicate there is more information.

Warning:  Custom Tax Codes will not be processed into the BAS Report.

Workaround

Adjust the column width to show the full number.
