Taxable Payments Annual Report shows the wrong financial year

Question

I have prepared the Taxable Payments Annual Report (TPAR), selected the financial year as 2022-2023 then clicked the OK button to see the report.  Why does the report appear blank with the financial year as 2023-2024?

Answer

When you prepare the TPAR and click on OK, Accounts Business will generate a report for this financial year.  As the parameters in TPAR do not match the current financial year, a blank report for this financial year is displayed.

If you click on Export and create the export file, the following report will display correctly for the selected financial year. 

 

Detailed Instructions

Prepare the TPAR, click on Export to create the export file and view the report.

If you discover errors, make the necessary changes and regenerate the TPAR and export again.
