ADJ tax code appearing when not used under current tax transactions

Question
Why does the tax code ADJ appear in my list of tax codes?
Answer
Any tax code used in transactions in the past cannot be deleted without deleting those records first.
We recommend that you hide any tax codes which you will not be using in the future.
To hide the ADJ tax code.
- Display the list of tax code by clicking on the Lists menu and choose Tax Codes List
- Highlight the ADJ tax code from the list.
- Click on the Tax Code button on the bottom left.
- Choose Make Inactive.
