POS Receipts are missing digits in Item price and Sales Totals

Question

Why is my POS receipt missing some digits?  I should see:

1 Items

Tax:           $0.00

Total:      $206.00

Cash:      $206.00

Change:      $0.00

But instead I see:

1 Items

Tax:              .00

Total:         06.00

Cash:         06.00

Change:         .00

Answer

This problem is known to happen if your computer’s Country Setting is other than AUSTRALIA.

Solution:

Close Retail POS

Windows Start button > Control Panel > Region and Language > Formats tab

In Format select English (Australia)

Click OK to save.

Launch Retail POS.
