msvbvm60.dll error when processing end of day

Question

Why do I get an error related to msvbvm60.dll when I attempt to do an end of day after installing service pack one for Quick POS V5?

Answer

This is caused by interferrance during the service pack installation.

  1. Make sure you have a copy of the service pack saved on the PC to reinstall.
  2. Restart the PC in safmode; restart the PC as per usual but during the boot sequance continualing press F8 key on the keyboard, this will give you selection to Safemode.
  3. Reinstall the service pack.
  4. Restart the PC and attempt the end of day.

The On Hold Transaction list is missing
