Question

How do I reset or change the cheque number counter?

Answer

1. From the Activities menu, choose Write Cheques.
2. Make sure the bank account shown is the one you want to use.
3. Clear the "To be printed" checkbox.
4. Replace the current cheque number with the number you want.
5. Complete the cheque form and click Record. The cheque number will then increment normally on the next new cheque.

Note that editing the number of a previous cheque will not reset the cheque number counter.
