Bank Account number incorrect for a Yodlee BankData feed

Question

Why do I continue getting a download error for my bankdata transactions from a Yodlee feed when the BSB and Account Number. and all other fields are correctly entered?

Answer

In some cases – when connecting to your bank account through Yodlee Inc - the configuration of your bank accounts for Online Banking and BankData will need to be different.

In these cases you will need to change how the account number is entered before you proceed with your Online Banking or BankData download action.

If you are using a bank clearing account so that you can have one line entry in your main bank account to match the one entry for the online transaction on your bank statement, then you can configure each according to its needs.

Westpac (New Zealand)

Normal entry for Online Banking is:

          Branch code: 031234

          Account No:  1234567001

Yodlee Account No display is 03-1234-1234567-001.  It must be listed as:

          Branch code: 031234 (or the default: 012345)

          Account No:  03-1234-1234567-001

Citibank (Australia)

Normal entry for Online Banking is:

          Branch code: 242001

          Account No:  1234561234

Yodlee Account No display is xxxxxx1234.  It must be listed as:

          Branch code: 242001 (or the default: 012345)

          Account No:  xxxxxx1234

UBank (Australia)

Normal entry for Online Banking is:

          Branch code: 082991

          Account No:  123456789

Yodlee Account No display is 082991123456789.  It must be listed as:

          Branch code: 082991 (or the default: 012345)

          Account No:  082991123456789
