Attaching company logos to a Reckon POS receipt printer

Question

How do I attach my company logo to Retail POS’s Senor GTP-290B3 receipt printer?  I can see the logo options in the Receipt Printer options box, but it is greyed out. 

Answer

Retail POS requires a Senor Logo Utility to allow it to use logos that must be stored on your receipt printer. 

You will need to refer to your receipt printer’s manual for directions to configure for printing logos. 

Solution

1.       Download the Senor Logo Utility from: https://library.reckon.com.au/library/zip/Print_TP290_LogoUtil.zip

and save to either your Desktop or Downloads folder.

2.    Go to the Desktop or Download folder and right-click your download and select Extract Here.

3.    Double click on setup.exe to run the utility.

You are now ready to configure your printer for logo printing:

1.    Refer to the printer manual to load your company logo onto the printer.

2.    In POS Terminal > Options > Receipt Printer > select the Senor GTP_290B3 printer and tick the boxes for Print Logo in Header and/or Print Logo in Trailer.
