Price Level not applied to the Customer

Question

I have configured Quickbooks and Retail of POS for particular price levels to be applied to particular customers.  Why doesn’t the correct price level apply to the customers?

 

Answer

For Retail POS to apply a Price Level to a Customer, the Customer Number function key must be configured to allow the use of the customer’s price level.

 

Detailed Instructions

On Pos Terminal:

1.    Tools > Options > Keyboard

2.    For onscreen keyboards:

a.    Click on Design Keyboard Layout;

b.    Click on the Cust. Number button and select Function;

c.    In the Function Option section, tick the box Use Customer’s Price Level;

d.    Click on Apply > OK > Apply > OK.

3.    For standard keyboards:

a.    Click on Design Keyboard Layout;

b.    In the Functions box, scroll down to Customer Account;

c.    In the Functions Option section, tick the box Use Customer’s Price Level;

d.    Click on Apply > OK > Apply > OK.

 

Retail POS will now apply the Customer’s Price Level
