Paid Parental Leave is incorrect in Payroll Premier

Legacy KB ID: 4684

Question

Why does Payroll Premier give a lower amount for Parental Leave?  It should be $606.40 per week but is paying only $580.40.

Answer

Paid Parental Leave will change from time to time.  Payroll Premier is issued with the amount of Paid Parental Leave current at the time of release.

If a change to the Paid Parental Leave amount is made after the cut-off date for the release, then the user will need to change the amount to the new amount.

Users should check with the the Department of Human Services at https://www.humanservices.gov.au/customer/services/centrelink/parental-leave-pay for the latest information, including pay rates on Paid Parental Leave.

Detailed Instructions to change the amount of Paid Parental Leave:

1.    File > Preferences > Leave;

2.    In the Paid Parental leave, Dollar Value box, replace the amount with the correct current amount.

3.    Click Save.
