Scanning an item into a Purchase Order forces it to save immediately

Why does a Purchase Order save immediately when I scan an item? How do I scan more than one item onto a Purchase Order?

Tick the option Pressing Enter moves between fields in the General Preferences.

The Issue

Many scanners are programmed with a “carriage return” character. In Accounts Business clicking the carriage return will complete the transaction.

(A carriage return command is necessary for the proper function of Reckon POS)

You can modify how Accounts Business treats the carriage return from a scanner.

Workaround

In Edit > Preferences > General, tick the option 'Pressing Enter moves between fields'.

Now the cursor will move to the next line on the Purchase Order
