How to export Lists and Reports data from Intuit QuickBooks Online

Login to your Intuit QuickBooks Online company

Export the Chart of Accounts

  1. On the left hand side navigation area select Accounting then Chart of Accounts
  2. Click on the Run Report button
  3. Click on the Export to Excel button

Export the Products and Services lists.

  1. On the left hand side navigation area select Sales then Products and Services
  2. Click on the More button
  3. Click on the Run Report button
  4. Click on the Export to Excel button

Export the Customer, Suppliers and Employees lists and some reports.

  1. Click on the Gear icon.
  2. Select Export data under Tools.
  3. Select the Lists tab and choose the list(s) you want to export.
  4. Select the Reports tab and choose the reports(s) you want to export.
  5. Click on the Export to Excel button.

Export the following List types.

o    Customers

o    Suppliers / Vendors

o    Employees

Export the following report types for a Custom Date Range, from the earliest date to the date you have chosen as the cut-off period (example: 01/01/2019 to 31/03/2021).

o    Balance Sheet

o    Trial Balance

o    Customer Balance Summary

o    Supplier Balance Summary

Keep track of where the export files end up so that you know where to find them when it comes time to send them to the Reckon Migration Team for processing.
