POS Terminal Crashes when using Categories

Question
Why does my POS Terminal "Crash" when I use categories?Answer
The categories list must not contain more than 98 items.
Reduce / Revise the categories list to keep it under 98 items to stop this crash from happening.
In Quickbooks
1. Go to the "lists" menu and select "item list"
2. Check your item list for any 'category' with more than 98 'subitems' under it.
3. After locating the problem 'category' review it and make the necessary changes (see example below)
i. This "item list" needs to be changed;
