QuickBooks Small Business cannot create budgets based on actual previous years data.

Question

Why cannot I create a budget based on my previous years actual data?

Answer

In QuickBooks Small Business when I set up a budget on Profit and Loss I get to the 'Additional Profit and Loss Budget Criteria' window but Next is greyed out so I can't choose to create a budget from my previous years actual data.

QuickBooks Pro does allow you to click on next to choose whether to use previous years actual data. This is a QuickBooks Pro feature only.
