Sharing your Xero lists and transactions data
The conversion teams need access to your source Xero data
If you only want a free standard migration, then follow the guide to export the Lists so it can be sent to the Standard Conversion Team.
How to export Lists and Reports data from Xero
This allows the Standard Conversion Team to perform the free migration.
Below are the available list types that can be migrated.
- Chart of Accounts list
- Items list
- Customer contact list
- Supplier contact list
- Employee list
Confirm additional details regarding your Xero Contacts and Item Lists exports
There is no specific identifier in the Contacts CSV export file that determines whether a record is a customer or a supplier.
You need to let us know whether you want to migrate:
a) all the records in the Contacts.csv to be migrated as Customers only
b) all the records in the Contacts.csv to be migrated as Suppliers only
c) all the records in the Contacts.csv to be migrated to appear in both the Customers and a Supplier lists
d) a new set of contact export files with a separate Customer and Supplier list export that you will provide
There is no specific identifier in the Items CSV export file that determines whether the prices include or exclude tax.
You need to let us know whether you want to migrate the Items as:
a) tax inclusive
b) tax exclusive
If you want a limited custom conversion that includes account balances, receivable invoice summary balances and payable invoice summary balances then those reports can also be exported from Xero OR you can share access to your Xero company data.
If you would like a custom conversion that includes data such as individual bills, invoices, journals, payments for invoices and bills, deposits or pay cheques, then you will need to share access to your Xero company data.

Invite an advisor to Xero company data
Invite the Reckon Custom Conversion Team using their email address which is:
reckon_support@odyssey-resources.com
We recommend that you copy/paste that email address since there is an underscore character _ between the words reckon and support in that email address.
