New one per page Employee Payslip layout

Legacy KB ID: 1648

Question

After upgrading to QuickBooks 2004, I've found that the new Employee Payslip layout has changed significantly. Why is this?

Answer

Quicken has opted to modify the One per Page layout under the request by the majority of users:

The new format makes the payslips possible to fold and post in a standard DL (110 * 220 mm) envelope.

There maybe users who prefer to continue using the previous one per page layout (specifically for TrackMedia A4 Sealable Pay Advice form 04-814), please follow the instructions below to align the layout for best results.

  1. Click on the File menu and choose Print Forms > Pay Slips...
  2. Choose the period which you would like to print the payslips for
  3. Tick the employees you which to print and click OK
  4. In the Print Pay Slips click the Align button
  5. In the Fine Alignment type 175 in the Vertical value box
  6. Click OK and OK again on any message
  7. Click print as usual to print the payslips

QuickBooks should now print the new layout on the sealable pay advices in an acceptable format.

How did we do?

Tick column on the Enter Payroll Information screen is missing

Why do I get a message: "The time card data for the employee has been changed" when processing a pay for a time data employee?
