Known Issue: Re-authenticating a QBO feed but selected the wrong company

About

Reauthentication is only available for Reckon Accounts Hosted and QuickBooks Online (QBO).

There are instances where your data feed may fail to synchronise due to account changes such as Passwords.

The user would need to re-authenticate their QuickBooks Online (QBO) data feed, which requires them going through the authentication process again.



Issue

If a User have multiple company, they would need to select the one they originally authenticated.

If a different company was selected during re-authentication, then Reckon Insights will now contain data from multiple QBO companies appending to the existing data.



Workaround

Unfortunately, the only workaround possible is to remove and re-add the QBO feed again.

This will start over the process from the configuration to the initial synchronisation that generally takes the longest.



Future Development

An investigation is currently being carried out to identify a possible solution to this issue to either stop users from selecting the incorrect company or to notify the user of the incorrect selection.
