Adding and managing bank feeds

This article explains how to add and manage bank feeds for use in Reckon One and Reckon Accounts Hosted. A bank feed automatically imports transactions from your bank into Reckon, allowing for easier and more accurate reconciliation of your financial records.

About bank feed types

We offer 3 types of bank feeds:

  • Open Banking (Australian customers only)
  • Direct Feed
  • Yodlee
Open Banking (Australian customers only)

Open Banking is part of a government-led initiative called Consumer Data Right, and is a standardised, secure and instant method of sharing your banking data. To provide Open Banking, we partner with SISS Data Services, Australia’s leading independent provider of secure banking and financial data services and an Accredited Consumer Data Right recipient.

Once a connection is established, it can take up to 1 hour to see transactions.

Direct feed

Direct feeds are available for most major banks and provide a secure connection directly between the bank and Reckon.

Depending on the bank, you can either register online or you will need to provide signed paperwork. It can take up to 10 days to see transactions.

Yodlee

Yodlee is a third party that provides an instant connection with your bank. It requires you to login with your internet banking details.

Once a connection is established, it can take up to 1 hour to see transactions.
