Question

Why can’t I get onto the new Reckon Accounts Hosted?

 

Answer

Internet Explorer 10+ users must turn off Compatibility View Settings

 

The Issue

Internet Explorer 10 and 11 users found it necessary to turn on Compatibility View Settings to properly access Reckon Accounts Hosted.

The new Reckon Accounts Hosted uses different technology (HTML5) that does not work efficiently with Compatibility View Settings turned on. 

 

Solution

Before connecting to the new Reckon Accounts Hosted turn, off Compatibility View Settings:

1.    Click on Tools > Compatibility View Settings

2.    in the box: "Websites you've added to Compatibility View"

3.    highlight: reckononline.com.au

4.    click Remove

 
You should now be able to access the new Reckon Accounts Hosted.
