Trial Balance has an account called No Account.

Question

When I produce a Trial Balance report there is an account called No Account that has a balance there.

Answer

1) Click on the "File" menu and select "Preferences"
2) Select "Accounting" in the left hand column.
3) Make sure that "Require accounts" is ticked.
4) Click on the "OK" button.

Now create a new Trial Balance report.

1) In the trial balance report, if the "No Account" is still there, double click on the "No Account" balance.
2) A quick report with the transactions that have not been applied correctly will appear.
3) Double click on the first transaction and either assign an account or re-enter the transactions.
