Pay Period start date missing from Payroll Premier emailed payslip

Legacy KB ID: 4784

Question

Why is the Start Date of the pay period missing from the email copy of the payslip?  All print styles of the same payslip show the Start Date.

Answer

To force the Start Date to show on an emailed payslip:

1.    File > Preferences > Super;

2.    Tick the box Include Super Paid Date on Payslips;

3.    Click Save.

For financial year 2012/13 you do not need to enter a date for the date the Super contribution will be paid to the employee’s Super Fund.

The requirement to include the date the Super Contribution will actually be paid to the employee’s Super Fund has been proposed in parliament but as yet not passed.  It is envisaged that legislation will pass this financial year and that from 1/7/2013 you will be required to include this Date.  Please check with your Accountant to confirm the start date of this requirement.
