What does the error "CI Lock Attempt Failed 33" mean?

Answer

CI Lock Attempt Failed 33, describes a condition whereby the QuickBooks database engine (C-Index from Trio Systems) has been unable to lock a particular record in the database since it is already in use by another user or another process. Once the situation has cleared up the lock attempt will be successful.
