Payment Summary Window appears as Process W-2s on the Icon Bar

Question

Why does the Payment Summary Screen save as Process W-2s to the icon Bar?

Answer

*****   THIS ISSUE HAS BEEN ADDRESSED IN 2011/12 EDITION  *****

 

The default settings for the Label and Description fields of the Icon symbol show Process W-2s.  You can change these fields when you create the Icon Bar symbol.

 

Workaround

When saving the window to the Icon Bar, in the Add Window to Icon Bar screen:

·         delete the contents of the Label field (Process W-2s);

·         replace with your preferred name – eg. Print PS or Email PS or Empdupe;

·         delete the contents of the Description field (Process W-2s);

·         replace with your preferred description – eg. Process Printed PS or Process Emailed PS or Process Empdupe;

·         click OK to save.
