Calendar does not display positive transfer balances for scheduled transactions

Question

Why does the Calendar in Quicken show today’s bank balance incorrectly?

Answer

When a scheduled transfer between two Quicken Internal Accounts is due today, the Quicken Calendar will show only the flow of funds out of the Bank Account and not the flow of funds into the Bank Account. 

When the scheduled transfer is complete, the Calendar will show the correct balance. 

 

Workaround

·         On the Calendar, click on Options and ensure that Show snapshots below calendar is ticked;

·         In the Scheduled Bill & Payment section, click on Enter for each scheduled transaction between Quicken Internal Accounts for today.

The day’s Bank balance should now be correct, reflecting both the outflows and inflows associated with the transfer between the Quicken Internal Accounts.
