Error: Password is incorrect when logging onto QuickBooks Hosted

Question

Why does Reckon Online often reject my valid username and password?  Eventually I will get in. 

Answer

This outcome has been experienced by some subscribers using the Windows copy (Ctrl+C) and paste (Ctrl+V) function to enter their username and password into the relevant fields.

This action does not always force the Domain or Workgroup reference to change from its existing setting to the QuickBooks Hosted domain of qbi.  Consequently an attempt is made to login to the existing domain or workgroup with the QuickBooks Hosted username and password and fails. 

 

Workaround

Manually type in your username;

Click on the TAB button;

Manually type in your password;

Click on OK.
