Payment summary ; Union deductions do not show up

Question

The union deductions in the payment sumaries report show a zero figure, but show in the report on deductions.

Answer

This can normally happen when the deduction has not been set up correctly in the employee's details. To check this :- 1) Select the Employee in the employee list and click on the "Edit" button. 2) Select the Deduction tab 3) Change the option in the Union comlumn to "Yes" 4) Click on "Save" You may need to delete the lasy pay for the employee and reprocess it to change any figures.
