Template Settings

Overview

The below Settings will be visible based on the module you have enabled in Reckon One.


Estimates

To access the list of templates and modify the settings, you will need to:

  1. Go to Settings > Day to Day > Money In
  2. Expand Estimates > Manage templates (under Default template drop-down menu)

There are four types of templates available:

  1. Professional Estimate
  2. Standard Estimate
  3. Products and Services Estimate
  4. Generic Estimate


To customise what field(s) will show in the printed/emailed Estimate, expand the below sections and choose Yes / No option for the available fields.

You can change the name, add company logo, your business information etc. here.

If details do not appear on your Estimates, such as your business phone number, check to make sure the option is set to Yes, and that you have entered all relevant contact details under your book settings. Go to Settings > Book settings > Contact details.

Content

You can change the transaction details here.


You can change the transaction summary options (transaction total, tax total etc.) and other important notes here.

Preview your changes

To see how your template will look like:

  1. Save the template changes
  2. Click on Manage templates
  3. Click the Preview link



Invoices

To access the list of templates and modify the settings, you will need to:

  1. Go to Settings > Day to Day > Money In
  2. Expand Invoices > Manage templates (under Default template drop-down menu)

There are four types of templates available:

  1. Professional Invoice
  2. Standard Invoice
  3. Products and Services Invoice
  4. Generic Invoice

For each of the Template, you have the ability to change the below:

  • Template font: Choose the font that you want to use in your template
  • Template font size: Choose the font size that you want to use in your template

To customise what field(s) will show in the printed/emailed Invoice, expand the below sections and choose Yes/No option for the available fields.


Header

You can change the name, add company logo, your business information etc. over here.

If details do not appear on your invoice, such as your business phone number, check to make sure the option is set to Yes, and that you have entered all relevant contact details under your book settings. Go to Settings > Book settings > Contact details.

Content

You can change the transaction details here.

To enable Service date in this template, you will have to enable this feature first from the Invoice settings. Go to Settings > Money in > Invoice > from "Service date column on invoices", select "Enabled".

To access the list of templates and modify the settings, you will need to:

  1. Go to Settings > Day to Day > Money In
  2. Expand Customer Adjustment Notes > Manage templates (under Default template drop-down menu)

There are two types of templates available:

  1. Professional Customer adjustment note
  2. Standard Customer adjustment note

To customise what field(s) will show in the printed/emailed Customer Adjustment Note, choose Yes / No option for the available fields.


Header

You can add company logo, your business information etc. over here.

If details do not appear on your Customer Adjustment Notes, such as your business phone number, check to make sure the option is set to Yes, and that you have entered all relevant contact details under your book settings. Go to Settings > Book settings > Contact details.

  1. Save the template changes
  2. Click on Manage templates
  3. Click the Preview link



Bills

To access the list of templates and modify the settings, you will need to:

  1. Go to Settings > Day to Day > Money out
  2. Expand Bills > Manage templates (under Default template drop-down menu)

There is only one type of template available at the moment.

  1. Standard Bill

To customise what field/s will show in the printed/emailed Bills, choose Yes/No option for the available fields.


Header

You can change the name, add company logo, your business information etc. here.

If details do not appear on your invoice, such as your business phone number, check to make sure the option is set to Yes, and that you have entered all relevant contact details under your book settings. Go to Settings > Book settings > Contact details.

Supplier Adjustment Notes

To access the list of templates and modify the settings, you will need to:

  1. Go to Settings > Day to Day > Money out
  2. Expand Supplier Adjustment Notes > Manage templates (under Default template drop-down menu)

There is only one type of templates available at the moment:

  1. Standard Supplier Adjustment Notes

To customise what field(s) will show in the printed/emailed Supplier Adjustment Notes, choose Yes / No option for the available fields.


Header

You can change the name, add company logo, your business information etc. here.

If details do not appear on your Supplier Adjustment Note, such as your business phone number, check to make sure the option is set to Yes, and that you have entered all relevant contact details under your book settings. Go to Settings > Book settings > Contact details.

Employee Expenses

To access the list of templates and modify the settings, you will need to:

  1. Go to Settings > Day to Day > Employee expenses
  2. Expand Employee expenses > Manage templates (under Default template drop-down menu)

There is only one type of templates available at the moment.

  1. Standard Expense Claim

To customise what field/s will show in the printed/emailed Employee Expenses, choose Yes/No option for the available fields.


Header

You can change the name, add company logo, your business information etc. here.

If details do not appear on your Supplier Adjustment Note, such as your business phone number, check to make sure the option is set to Yes, and that you have entered all relevant contact details under your book settings. Go to Settings > Book settings > Contact details.

  2. Click on Manage templates
  3. Click the Preview link



Customer Statements

To access the list of templates and modify the settings, you will need to:

  1. Go to Settings > Day to Day > Statements
  2. Expand Customer Statements > Manage templates (under Default template drop-down menu)

There is only one type of templates available at the moment.

  1. Standard Customer Statement

To customise what field/s will show in the printed/emailed Customer Statement, choose Yes/No option for the available fields.


Header

You can change add company logo here.
