Question

Why do I receive the message:

"Unable to verify the active printer at the system level when attempting to print a report in Quicken."

Answer

Note: This issue will occur if you running on a 64 Bit operating system.

In order to print reports, follow the instructions below:

  1. Generate the report.
  2. Modify the report if required.
  3. Click the Print icon.
  4. From the Print To field, select Quicken PDF Printer from the drop-down list.
  5. Make any necessary adjustments and click Print.
  6. Save the file in a known location on your computer.
  7. Enter a file name and click Save.
  8. Locate and double click on the file.
  9. From the File menu select Print.
  10. Make any necessary adjustments and click OK.
