The Tax Detail Report doesnt refresh correctly

Question

After deleting or editing a transaction that I zoomed to from the Tax Detail Report, I’m asked to refresh the report.  If I select NO then the first line of the Purchases section moves into the Sales section and includes the purchase amount in the sales totals.

Answer

If you choose not to refresh the report QuickBooks removes the transaction from the report rather than entering the work ‘Deleted’ and ‘*****’ in the fields.  The removal of the entry shifts all the lines below the deletion up one line. 

This problem is being investigated by our Development Team.

 

 

Workaround

Choose Yes to refresh the report.

The problem will not occur.
