Error Message: Your licence file appears to be corrupted

Question

Why do i receive an the Error Message: 'Your licence file appears to be corrupted.... '?

Answer

When Reckon is installed on Terminal Services, there will be a licensing issue unless permissions are set to the below address. Make sure that ' Show hidden Files and Folders' is selected in 'Explorer>Tools>Folder Options>View' tab is, then give full permissions to each user to the file at the bellow address.


- Configure your Computer to show hidden files and folders.


Windows XP:

C:\Documents and Settings\AllUsers\ApplicationData\Intuit\Quicken\Config\quicken.lic


Windows Vista:

C:\ProgramData\Intuit\Quicken\Config\quicken.lic
