Super Amount field does not accept an amount above $9,999.99 in Payroll Premier

Legacy KB ID: 4562

Question

I am entering an Employer Additional Super item into an employee’s record, but it will not accept my amount.  It reverts to 0.00.  Why?

Answer

Some fields in various places of Payroll Premier do have a limitation to the number of digits that can be entered.  The Amount column in the Super tab of an Employee’s record can accept a maximum number of 9999.99.  When such a number is entered, the field will revert to the number that was there previously.  If this is the first entry to this field then it will show 0.00.

Workaround

Edit the pay during the pay run.  You can enter up to 999,999.99.

In the Pay Summary for all Employees, click on the employee

Click on Super and enter the amount in the Amt Paid column.

If your amount is above $999,999.99, then split the payment into entries that fall below the limit.
