Adding RDOs to the payslip

Legacy KB ID: 3734

Question

I have set up RDO in Payroll Premier and I would like to show the accumulated entitlement on the payslip.  How do I do that?

Answer

In Payroll Premier you must use the Special Leave pay rate for your RDO.  Special Leave is included on the payslip and you will need to rename it.

Renaming Special Leave to RDO on the payslip

1.    Click on Reports, Payslips and Number Order;

2.    Click on the Edit icon;

3.    Right-click on the Sp/Leave cell;

4.    In the Object Properties, change Sp/Leave in the Field Heading to RDO and click Save.  You should now see RDO on the payslip.

5.    Click on File and choose Close Report – it will ask you if you want to save it; select YES;

6.    You will then be told this report is a default report and that you cannot save changes.  It also offers to save as a Memorized Report - click YES;

7.    In the Report Properties screen tick Add to Memorised Reports and in the Name field give your report a name – eg RDO Payslips.  Click on Save.

Your amended payslips are now saved.

You will now need to run your payslips from Memorized Reports.
