When attempting to print from Cashbook to the printer a GPF (general protection fault) spool32 error appears.

Why do I get the error 'GPF (General Protection Fault) spool32' when I attempt to print from Cashbooks?

Answer

Download a virtual printer off the web. These are free downloads. Set Cashbook to print to the virtual printer and then print from the virtual printer to the physical printer.

As virtual printers are third party products we cannot recommend them for general usage. The above Trouble shooting may assist in finding where the error exists but it is not an ongoing solution to use a Virtual Printer. Please consult an IT person to test the printer in depth and check all drivers for the device.
