Reckon Accounts Personal: How to view a Bank Reconciliation Report

Legacy KB ID: 3806

Question

I have done a bank reconciliation but how do I now view the Bank Reconciliation Report?

Answer

Reckon Accounts Personal does not display the Bank Reconciliation Report in the same manner that other reports are displayed.  You need to go through the printing steps to view the report.  Our Development Team is examining options for a more user-friendly display.

To view a Bank Reconciliation Report:

1.    Have the bank account that was reconciled as the active register

2.    On the top menu line, select Reports, then Banking and then Reconciliation to open the Reconciliation Report Setup

3.    In Report title (Optional), enter a name for the report

4.    In Show Reconciliation to Bank Balance as of box select the date you wish to show the register balance

5.    In Transactions to Include select either All Transactions or Summary and Uncleared

6.    If you wish to Show Savings Goal Transactions, tick the box

7.    When ready to proceed, press the Enter key on your keyboard to bring up the Print Screen

8.    Select Preview to see the report on the screen

9.    Click Next Page to see other pages of the Report

10. Click Print to print the report

11. Click Close to close the report and to end the printing module

Additional Note:

Quicken will only display the last reconciliation report.  If you unreconciled the last reconciliation, the report will show the opening balance and no transactions reconciled.
