Tax Scales disappear after attempting to setup a network path

Question

Why have the tax scales disappeared from the Employee Record Taxation tab after attempting to setup a network path?

Answer

Payroll Premier Multi-Users will experience this problem if they start the Setup Network Path function but press Cancel without selecting a network path or ticking the boxes to copy data, tax and report files.

You may also find that your Preferences have been deleted. 

 

Workaround

Close Payroll Premier and reopen it.  Tax Scales and Preferences will revert to their former settings.
