Employees’ Date of Birth field is missing from payroll upload to Superlink

Question

SuperLink will not process my payroll upload.  The message is that the Date of Birth field is missing and instructs to provide the missing data.  But the SuperLink export file does not contain Date of Birth information, and that information is in the Employees’ records on SuperLink.  What do I do?

Answer

The error message is misplaced.  The problem is with an employee(s)’s name.  For SuperLink to process a payroll upload, the names of Employees in the payroll upload file must match the names in the SuperLink Employee record. 

 

Solution

Check the names of Enployees in your company file with the SuperLink records.  Pay attention to capitals at start of names, middle names and surnames.
