Errors while installing the QuickBooks Pro Timer on Microsoft Vista

Why do I get errors when installing the QuickBooks Pro Timer? 


Some users may receive errors when installing QuickBooks Pro Timer for the first time and are using Microsoft Vista. If you have received errors you will need to accept them and then Install the Pro Timer again.

Description of the first install and what should be done:

1. Error 'The application ".\ timer \ setup.exe " could not start'
Select 'OK'
2. The operation completed successfully
Select 'OK'
3. 'Windows detected that this program did not run correctly'
Select the 'Close' button
4. Restart the Pro Timer Installation, no more errors should ensue
