Cant import OFX after using the QIF to OFX converter in QuickBooks

Question

Why won't Reckon Desktop import my OFX file after using the QIF to OFX converter tool? the QIF is not empty

Answer

This can happen when your QBO file is anywhere but on your own 'local' computer's hard drive (typically "local disk C")

If you QBO file is located on a server or other networked location please copy or move it to the actual computer that you are trying to convert / import on, then Re-import the file again.
