Can't view Help Videos

Question

After upgrading I'm suddenly unable to access the help videos available for Quicken.

Answer

The reason this happens is because the CD label changes and thus the program has trouble trying to find the correct CD label information. 1) Close Quicken down 2) Put the Quicken V8 CD-Rom into the pc 3) Double click on "My Computer" 4) Note the name of the cd e.g. QW8BOZR2 5) Click on the "Start" button and select "Run" 6) Type in "Quicken.ini" and push the enter key 7) Locate the heading called [MediaPath] in the Quicken.ini The line below this should say something like CDVolumeLabel=QW8...... Simply replace the QW8... with the CDVolumeLabel that contains the video files. ie. CDVolumeLabel=QW8BOZR2
