Customer Price Level not applied to an Invoice in RAB 2015

Legacy KB ID: 5266

Question

Why doesn’t Reckon Accounts Business 2015 apply the Customer’s Price Level on an Invoice?

Answer

Set Tax Preferences to show Sales figures as Net.

The Issue

If settings are selected to show Gross prices on an invoice, Price Levels set for customers will not be correctly applied.

Reckon apologises for the inconvenience this problem in the 2015 is causing.  The issue will be looked at in a future release.

Workaround 1

Set Tax Preferences to show Sales figures as Net

1.    Edit > Preferences > Tax > Company Preferences

2.    Under Sales figures, click the radio button for Net (Exclusive of GST)

3.    Click OK to save.

Figures on the invoice will be shown as net of tax, and only the total of the Invoice will show the Gross value.

Workaround 2

Showing the invoice with gross prices. (Amts Inc Tax box is ticked)

On the invoice, click the dropdown arrow in the price level column and select the appropriate price level.
