Tax on ETP payment appears in both ETP and INB Payment Summaries

Legacy KB ID: 4724

Question

Why does the ETP tax appear in both the ETP and INB Payment Summaries?

Answer

ETP Payment Summaries are configured to show the exact amount of tax for the payment according to the ETP payroll items used.

If you calculate the tax incorrectly then:

·         Amounts in excess of the exact ETP tax amount calculated by the Payment Summary will be published in the INB Payment Summary;

·         If the entered tax amount is less than the exact ETP tax amount calculated by the Payment Summary then the entire tax amount will appear in the INB Payment Summary.

Workaround

Review your calculations of ETP tax payable and enter the exact, correct amount.
