Error: Unable to read system registry when converting data from MYOB in QuickBooks QBi 2008/09

QuestionWhy do I receive an error message: Unable to read system registry when converting data from MYOB in QuickBooks QBi 2008/09?
This is because the MYOB converter isn't reading the installed version from the Registry Editor. It is set to 'superpro' by default.
A patch is available and can be downloaded from the link below:
1. Click on the link
2. Save the file on your Desktop
3. Once the download is complete and you have located the file on your desktop, double click V3.1.11_BETA.zip
4. Extract the contents to the MYOBConvert folder which is located in C:\Program Files\Intuit\QuickBooks 2008-09\Components\MYOBConvert
5. A window will appear stating that the following file(s) already exist. Click Yes to All.
You should now be able to use the MYOB converter to convert your data.
