Emailing an invoice fails: None of your e-mail accounts could send to this recipient.

Legacy KB ID: 3830

Question

Why can’t I send an invoice by email from Quicken Home & Business?  I gen the error:

“Your message did not reach some or all of the intended recipients..... None of your e-mail accounts could send to this recipient.”

Answer

This error is produced by the email agent and has been noted by Outlook 2007 and Outlook 2010 users.

Our Development Team is investigating the issue.

The process of emailing proceeds as expected and the email message is produced.  All details on the email message are correct.  When you press Send the email appears in your Outbox.  When to choose Send All you get an error email with the error:

Your message did not reach some or all of the intended recipients.

Subject:        Estimate/Invoice

Sent:  10/09/2010 1:50 PM

The following recipient(s) cannot be reached:

'first.surname@company.com.au' on 10/09/2010 1:50 PM

None of your e-mail accounts could send to this recipient.

Workaround

When the email message first appears, retype the email address in the address field.  Your email should send.

If you are using a 64-bit email client:

Uninstall the 64-bit email client and install the 32-bit version.
